Peppa Pig World - Paultons Park

The day finally arrived: it was time to leave London and set off on our next adventure, five-month-long touring around Europe, Turkey and Morocco. The start date of our trip kept slipping due to the amount of work on the car Aaron had and Tuesday became Saturday, 4 p.m. set off turned into 11 p.m. (!) but we eventually left London behind.

Since we’ve already covered quite a few countries in the last few years and on the ‘big trip’ we did last year, this time there isn’t going to be too many new places. We simply want to revisit some of our favourite spots i.e. Corsica, go a few places in Morocco that weren’t accessible last time due to heavy rains and visit countries that some people were signing praises about such Macedonia. However, before we headed down South we made Peppa Pig World in Paultons Park our first stop for we have a big fan of Peppa Pig amongst us: Micky.

And at the entrance to Peppa Pig World. Marcel was very proud of the fact it had been his third visit to the park.

A special photo with Daddy Pig. We happened to be at the theme park on (English) Father's Day.

A selfie on the dinosaur ride.

For the unfamiliar with Peppa Pig, George, Peppa's little brother, loves dinosaurs! Dinosaur is the only word he can actually say. We have a big fan of dinosaurs but he knows many more words than just 'dinosaur'. Beany can name several dinosaurs and recall many facts about them.

Waiting to get on Windy Castle ride...

... and someone decided it was taking too long!

Others had more patience!

Beany the tractor driver! The tractor goes around some vegetable patches and little plots of strawberries and raspberries.

The final ride: a train that goes around Paultons Park.

Snack time! The rides got closed, the crowds left so we took advantage of the peace and quiet and enjoyed the playground to its full potential.

Some know how to enjoy peace and quiet!

That was the end of our stay in the UK. After leaving Peppa Pig World we drove to the port in Portsmouth from where we took a ferry across to France.
